We welcome students cycling to school, provided both parents and students have thoroughly read and familiarised themselves with the school's Cycling Policy.
Please note that you cannot apply for a cycle permit prior to your child's first day; our system only registers new students once they are fully enrolled on Thursday, 3rd September. Furthermore, cycle permits will not be issued until the following week at the earliest, as student photographs must first be taken and processed for their permits. To give families ample time to complete the online application once enrollment is complete, staff will not be checking for bike permits during the first few weeks of term. In the meantime, students may cycle to school and store their bikes in the designated bike sheds provided they adhere strictly to our safety rules—including wearing a helmet and riding with care.
Please note that SCOPay link codes cannot be sent to parents/carers until September 2nd at the earliest. Once a student is fully enrolled, it takes 12–24 hours for our school system to sync data with SCOPay before codes can be emailed. Getting these to you is a top priority so you can set up your account and top up your child's dinner balance.
Students eligible for Free School Meals will be able to use canteen services regardless of whether a SCOPay account is active. However, we still strongly recommend setting up your account, as it is required to pay for school trips, replacement ties, planners, and other items.
Please note that all existing FSM claims remain active until 31st August 2026. From this date all transitional protections will end and families must meet the FSM eligibility criteria from the start of the 26/27 academic year.
To ensure that your child continues to receive a free school meal from the start of the September term, please ensure that you re check eligibility with West Northamptonshire Council using the link on the letter attached. If you believe your child may now be eligible for free school meals, please use the same link to apply.

This was originally shared at our Parents' Transition Evening for Year 6 students joining Year 7 this September. It's now available to download. Please forgive us, as without the accompanying speakers, some parts of the presentation might seem vague.
Moulton School & Science College will be holding a pre-loved uniform sale during the Summer Holidays which will provide an opportunity to purchase some of the items required for September.
This will take place in the Lecture Hall on Monday 3rd August 10.30am - 2pm.
We understand that some parents wish to book a locker for their child that is located close to their form room. To assist with this, we are pleased to share the form room locations for our new Year 7 students who will be joining us in September.

We are pleased to inform parents and carers that we will be introducing a new PE t-shirt for all students. The new t-shirt has been designed to incorporate the school colours and made from breathable, lightweight fabric. It will be available to order from June 2026 through Stevensons Uniform Shop at a cost of £16 for sizes 26-36 and £19.25 for sizes 38 and above.
Today we sent an email to all parents and carers of students joining us in September 2026, introducing them to this dedicated website. We hope you find it a useful resource as you prepare for your child's start with us.
The site contains a wealth of information to help you get ready, including details on term dates, uniform, equipment lists, attendance and the times of the school day, transport (buses and cycling), cashless catering via SCOPay, student mobile phones, and much more. We'd encourage you to explore the Important Information section, where you can expand each topic to find out everything you need to know.
One important task to complete: All parents and carers are asked to complete our online Admission Form, which covers important details including your child's personal information, contact details, medical needs, dietary requirements, and consents. Please ensure this is completed by Friday 24th April 2026. A link to the form can be found on the Admission Form page of this website.
Our Welcome Book will also be made available on this site in the near future — we'll post an update here as soon as it's ready to download.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please email admissions@moultonschool.co.uk or call 01604 641600 (hold for reception).
